My pc is a emachine 2gb ddr2 memory, 320gb hard drive, nvidia geforce 9200. I know that in order to play empire tw 9200 is not good enough. So i'm thinking about upgrading my video card to 9800gtx. i wanna know if the upgrade will be succesful. And also does monitor have any effect on the game. currently i have 1366x768 but can switch it to 1900x1200. if yes then how does it affect it.Changing my video card from 9200 to 9800gtx. Trying to play empire tw. Wanna know if it'll work.?
i dont know much about nvidia, im an ati man. but i i know that the 9800gtx is among their highest cards so im sure it will play the game with no problem, it just may not be able to do the maxed out settings. and yes the monitor res makes a difference. im pretty sure the 9800 will allow for 1080p display. so basically dependingng on the monitor u use your vid card may be able to play games at a higher resolution than the monitor allows
