I have a Latitude C360 (old) and i can't change the video card.
So, i heard if you buy more ram you can get the video card memory up.
The memory card is 16mb of memory, and i need 64 - 128mb of memory. Can you tell me how much ram i need, and a cheap price.I need help finding cheap Ram for a laptop?
I did a Google search for your laptop, and couldn't find your model. Make sure it's right first before you go off and buy something that might not work.
You can use the Crucial Memory tool from their website (www.crucial.com) to find what you need, but often the price on what they have in stock is much more than other sources.
Just by buying more RAM though you won't increase the video card's memory. You can allocate more RAM to the video card, which can be a hassle. Since your laptop likely uses DDR ram due to it's age, 1GB of the speed you need could run anywhere from $30 to $70 depending on the specifics of what you need.
It's not really worth it to spend that much upgrading a computer that you likely couldn't sell for that price.I need help finding cheap Ram for a laptop?
crucial.com
i would check at micro center they have all kinds of stuff and answers to all cp problems and they are normally cheaper than anywhere else.
Go to the Crucial website and check there. They have your laptop model and let you know the maximum capacity of memory it can hold. It will also sell you the right model chip for your laptop. Most you'll spend is about 30$
go to newegg.com
I wouldn't buy it from Crucial- too expensive... ram for old systems often costs more than ram for newer models (don't know why). Do this: go to Crucial's website and enter your EXACT model- it will tell you what ram your laptop takes and how much. Then go to ebay- I guarantee you will find it new there for 50% to 75% cheaper than any other online or local store (I recently did this and got 1GB new for $18-including shipping!! would have cost $80 thru crucial, newegg, etc). Good luck
