Why does Firefox run so slow after i play a video game?

I changed my video card recently to a ATI radeon HD pro 2600 on agp8x with the latest omega drivers. I noticed that after I play a video game and exit it, Firefox runs extremely slow ( switching tabs takes at least 8 seconds) until I restart my computer. Why does Firefox run so slow after i play a video game?
Some games after loading have a problem releasing the memory that they have just used. Is not Firefox with the problem, is the game that you just played.



To fix this problem reboot or log off.
