do i have to buy a high def monitor i already have an lcd monitor, upgrade to vista or change my video card?How do i turn my coputer into high def?
1- make sure you have HD monitor

2- you must have an HD capable video card. (unless your motherboard has built inn HD capability. im using nvidia 9800gtx)

Chances are your computer is already ';high def';. Computers have been ';high def'; since the 1990s.
What do you mean high def? Do you mean you want to play Blue-Ray/HD DVD content or do you mean you want to increase the screen resolution or color quality? If you want to take advantage of high definition video you are going to have to get a computer that can handle those types of calculations. Choose wisely my son.



If you just want to get the best possible picture, you just need a good video card with a higher resolution and hight color quailty.
