Make sure your mother board has an AGP slot on it, first off.

You have to check the compatibility of the video card with your computer. Many computers like Dell, Gateway, etc are so cheap (sometimes not so cheap) because they are not upgrade friendly. The companies want you to buy a new compouter instead of upgrade. So check to see if it is compatible with your Dell.My dell optiplex is running with pci video driver i need to change over to agp how do i do this?
Left the old pci video card in your pc. When the pc starts, press the ';DEL'; key so you enter the BIOS.

There must be some setting for the video driver, something like an option between PCI and AGP card that you can select as the preferred used by your mother board when the pc starts. Change to AGP card. Save and exit, turn off the pc, install the AGP card and power on.
There is no way you can change the video card from PCI to AGP without using a motherboard that has an AGP slot.

You need to buy a PCI Video card
lol u shouldn't even be able to fit them in the same slot
