i have just changed my video card in my computer and i went in to the ATI Catalyst Control Centre and i went to the overdrive where the little sliders are to overclock you card and i would put a setting and tested it and it would say Passed so i would press accept and i would look at the current settings section it would still be at the stock settings. how do i make it so that it stays at the settings i put it at? thanks..ATI Card overclock question?
The programs they give you usually never work try overclocking it from bios.
if you manage to OC it from bios it boots then you open a benchmarking game like crysis and it dosent crash or freeze or get the bsod(blue screen of death) just make shure you have good airflow and maybe consider a new heatsink and fan for it.
how ever if dosent boot or if it freezes by itself or in game its probably your power Supply not being strong enough to handle the OC explaining why the program never worked
