How do you change an ONBOARD GRAPHICS CARD?

My knowledge in hardware isnt very well so i need some help.my base unit powers up but nothing displays on monitor screen. Im presuming theres something wrong with the graphics card.

i think i have an onboard graphics/video card, its not even a card, its more like a blue box on the motherboard, does that mean ill have to change the whole motherboard to change the graphics card. How do you change an ONBOARD GRAPHICS CARD?
Simply buy a card that will fit into the slot on your motherboard. This new card will override your onboard video. the most common video card slot is pci express x16.

Before buying make sure you have a pci-e (6pins) connector on your power supply and that you have a pci x8 or x16 slot on your motherboard.

If you don't have the connector, find a card that does not require a pci-e connector.

For no display. Follow this:

Take out memory and use one at a time.

Unplug all unnecessary items. ex. sound card, cd drive, ethernet card.

lastly you'll see a small watch battery. take that out for a minute and re-insert.

The most common problem for no display is a hardware failure. How do you change an ONBOARD GRAPHICS CARD?
If there's problem with graphic car, please refer to motherboard manual for hardware-compatibility before you buy any graphic card, if you don't have MB manual, search on google by manufacturer's site.

But its too early if you assuming Graphic problem.
