How can i download a driver for my new video card?

i have a barely used video card from my brothers old computer which he broke.(the computer) the video card on my computer is out dated and doesn't work that great. i need to change them but it requires a new driver. but if i put in the new videocard to download it i wont be able to see the screen. what can i do? its the ATI raedeon x1300 video card.How can i download a driver for my new video card?
If you are running windows XP, it has a default video driver which will allow you to see the screen, just not use the full power of the graphics card. Install the new card, then download the driver. Or, you can download and extract the driver, and then install the card. When the computer prompts you for the driver, just point it to the folder you extracted it to. Lastly, you can actually have the old card in while you install the new card. Plug the monitor in to the old card, set up the new card, then remove the old card and plug into the new card.

go to the manufactures site, usually in the support/download section the site you will be able to select your new video card and download its latest drivers, unless you have a random unnamed one goodluck
if it is new it should have come with a cd - the cd should have the driver on it. If you can find it.
