What computers can handle the spore game, video card included?

i just got the spore computer game...and it wont work on my computer at all. Error message 2001. So what i'm asking is, what computers can handle the spore game without changing or having to download anything? the biggest thing i'm worried about is the video card. how do i get one? how to install? any information would be appreciated. i got this game for my bday and now i cant play it!What computers can handle the spore game, video card included?
Most can but many cannot. Make sure:

For PC:

PC=Windows XP or Windows Vista

CPU=2.0 GHz P4 processor

RAM= (XP) 512MB (Vista)

Hard Drive= At least 4GB of hard drive and 1 GB extra for creation

Video(This is where you should listen)=128MB Video Card



For Mac

Mac=Mac OS X 10.5 3Leopard or higher

CPU=Intel Core Duo processor

RAM=1024 MB RAM

Hard Drive= Same as above

Video=ATI X1600 or NVideia 7300 GT with 128 MB Ram video



If your computer does not have enough video space you can buy video cards at Best Buy, Circuit City, Etc. The best part is some places install them right at the store. All of the info needed is in MY COMPUTER. Video cards are not expencsive. In fact I got one for about $20.00!!! Hope this helps... OH and happy Birthday
