About my PC how to change my video card?

My PC has Nvidia GForce 5200 and my input is old what should i do,so i can put a better vidoe cardAbout my PC how to change my video card?
Time for a new system, there is no use sinking any more money into that dated system...About my PC how to change my video card?
The 5200 uses an AGP interface, which is a dying technology. Motherboards these days use a PCI-E interface. There are however still decent graphics cards around that use an AGP interface, just keep it mind, it won't be anything special in terms of performance.

For memory, the ATi Radeon 3850 is the best AGP card still available.

EDIT: Proto is right, I'm not extremely savvy when it comes to old hardware :P
First thing you need to do is figure out what bus the video card is on (i.e. is it integrated video, PCI, AGP, or PCIe?) Once you've found that out search around for some better cards using that same bus. If you're using AGP; beware of the speed that it runs at. They come in 4 varieties 1x, 2x, 4x, and 8x speeds. Some AGP slots are backwards compatible with other speeds but not all. You may want to research your motherboard's capabilities if that is the case. Once you've found a card that will work with your system, uninstall the drivers from your previous card, remove the old card from your system, put in the new card, then install the drivers that came with the new card (or download updated drivers from the manufacturer's website.) Obviously make sure your computer is off and UNPLUGGED before you remove the old card and put the new one in :) Hope this helps!
Actually, most GeForce FX 5200 cards aren't even AGP... they're old PCI (Not PCI-Express)

First step is to find out what kind of slot your computer has for video cards. PCI-E is best, AGP is older but still ok, and PCI only is bad.

If you've only got PCI slots (short white ones) then the best card you can buy would be something like a GeForce 8400GS.

If you have AGP, the Radeon 3850 is your best choice

u need to open your cabinet

there are PCI (peripheral component interconnected)card

these slots are used for attaching peripheral devices the device that can be connected are video card ,game card graphics card, internal modem (modulator-demodulator) LAN card etc

AGP (accelerated graphic port) is also used for attaching garfix port

the ediots where writing in extreme end that u would not undurstand

if i wanted i would write things that there father would not understand

i know the triple of what they know

here is a image that can help u
