Can I change the video card on this laptop?

I want to get this laptop http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/computer_can_series.do?storeName=computer_store%26amp;category=notebooks%26amp;a1=Category%26amp;v1=Entertainment+powerhouse%26amp;series_name=dv7t_series

but the 9600m graphics card is to weak to play crysis on high. I want to put in the nvidia 8800m gtx and I want to know if it is possible and if it is how because I heard laptops were mroe complicated than desktops. Thanks! Can I change the video card on this laptop?
nope i have posted this before pcworld sept issue page 82 find on the wire read the article --u can not relpace ur card --u can uprade it if it was offered as an option on the model u have

will tell u show what u can can't and why as far as replaceing something in ur laptop --go to there web page in the search bar type sept issue look for 5 insane upgrades u should never do--on the left file box click on upgradesCan I change the video card on this laptop?
no u cannot..

play crysis 9600M is ok..

uts now depend on your VRAM... play crysis at least 256

recommended is 512mb VRAM
Unless the laptop is designed to swap card, you can't. laptops have integrated video. There are some that allow this, but very few and they're very, very expensive. If you can find one.
No, this model has discreete graphic (which means you can not change it, but it's not integrated into chipset).

9600 mobile GT is not bad graphic card, but for 17'' screen on that laptop with combination with Crysis... Well, it's not the best :)

My advice is to buy some 15,4'' laptop with some better graphic. You will save in display size, but you will get better CPU and better graphic card.

my 9700M could play crysis on high.

But you can't swap a graphic card even if you could becuase the extra heat that comes with the faster graphic card will effect your whole laptop.
