Sims3...need new video card?? >(?

So i just bought the sims3 loaded onto my laptop which is only about 4 years old, and i bought it brand new. it is a hp pavilion dv4000. now, i know little to nothing about computers but when i tried to play it, a message came up that said you might want to change your video card, i figured it might be a little pixelated but it would be fine. wrong. it look HORRIBLE! and it was amazingly slow...

so i went online and looked at video cards...uhhh are they all that expensive!!!

what the h*ll do i need to do? the game was $70 and i'm pissed that my laptop which isnt very old can't even handle it. how could the sims people do this to me! its not like everyone has a brand new computer!

so what should i do.

if you need more information, i can try to find it for you, but like i said i really dont know much about computers. it has a sticker that says ';intel celeronM inside'; but thats all i can see...

you need a computer that can play it%26gt;laptops can't be upgraded%26gt;so that is why desktops are for gaming %26gt;they can be upgraded
