Switch to basic video drivers (Plain VESA for instance)

Power down

Replace card

Power up

Switch to new driver

Depends on the case. You know where the monitor plugs in to it - the other side of that panel.

Depends on the case. Usually by removing some screws on the back. How can I change my video card?
YOu can take your Computer to a PC store and they can change the card for you. Im pretty shure =]
It's usually the highest up on the board, and often the biggest.

If you don't know how to even open things up though, I would HIGHLY recommend letting someone who knows what they are doing do it for you.

You wouldn't try to replace part of an engine in a car without knowing how to or having someone walk you through it right then and there, would you?
