How do i change my video card?

i would like to interchange the card of my brother pc to mine like switch the cards.what do i do unplug put card and reboot or is it harder then that? ty in ADVANCEHow do i change my video card?
Eh.. of course both machines need to be turned off at least. It's easier to install and uninstall the cards if the machines are unplugged and lying on their side so the cards are pointing up at you. But before you do any of that you need to make sure you got the proper drivers for the cards. I have no idea what cards they are, are they both new or old ATI or Nvidia cards or what? If you are using cards with compatible graphic drivers then you don't have much to worry about. You still might need to uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

When you're done switching the cards, just close up the cases and plug all the necessary cables back in. If you are using the same drivers in both system then everything should work normally. If not then get new drivers off the internet, and as most cards on the market are either Nvidia or ATi cards, you can find the correct drivers on their sites. It's always better to uninstall the old drivers before installing new ones.

And do watch out for static electricity. Don't use excessive force. If you have problems with latches then try pushing/pulling them out of the way to the right (length-wise of the card). How do i change my video card?
I'm not sure what your trying to say but, its not as simple as plug and play. You needa install the drivers that came with the graphics card and you might needa fiddle with the BIOS settings.
you turn off the computers, unplug the cards, and switch em.

after you switch the cards you turn on computers and install each card driver in the computer you put it into. then it should work properly.

it just that easy

good luck mate
