Does anyone know how to switch/change a Laptop video/graphics card?

I have a Dell Vostro 1000. Was thinking about purchasing a PCI Express unit but would rather learn how to upgrade since a PCI unit cost $700.

But if anyone knows how to change a video card or know of a wegsite/link that can show me how it would much appreciated.Does anyone know how to switch/change a Laptop video/graphics card?
To upgrade you are talking about swapping out the motherboard. The graphics card is integrated into the motherboard.Does anyone know how to switch/change a Laptop video/graphics card?
Almost all laptops have video chips that are integrated with the motherboard. You can't just replace the graphics card on them.
I don't believe you can upgrade the GPU in that laptop model. Like most laptops, the GPU is soldered into the motherboard, so upgrading is impossible. Some series laptops do let you upgrade, but it'd still be expensive as hell
Laptops don't have PCI slots that I'm aware of. You would have to send it back to the manufacturer to get it upgraded.
